Dickinson County CEO Announces 2025-2026 Facilitator

With a commitment to growing the next generation of Dickinson County business leaders, the Dickinson County CEO Board of Directors has selected Brian Roth to serve as class facilitator for the 2025-2026 school year.

“We’re excited to have Brian lead the next chapter of our CEO program,” said Kyle Becker, Dickinson County CEO board chair. “His leadership experience, passion for working with students, and strong ties to the community will help our program continue to thrive and grow.”

Roth brings more than 30 years of educational experience with USD 435 in Abilene, Kansas. Throughout his career, he has served as Program Director for AVS/DCLE, taught middle and high school social studies, coached a variety of sports, and worked directly with students in both alternative and virtual learning environments.

“I believe in the potential of every student, and I’m excited to help them develop skills they’ll use for a lifetime,” said Brian Roth, Dickinson County CEO Facilitator. “The CEO program offers a unique opportunity to connect and learn with real-world experience, through local business people, and I’m honored to be part of it.”

CEO, which stands for Creating Entrepreneurial Opportunities, is a year-long course designed to utilize partnerships with area businesses to mentor and teach students about entrepreneurship. Dickinson County business leaders launched the program in 2020. It is one of 74 CEO programs nationwide and the only one in Kansas.

As Facilitator, Roth will spend 90 minutes each day with CEO students, coordinating business visits, arranging guest speakers, and building strong relationships with local entrepreneurs to provide students with hands-on learning experiences. He succeeds Brandy Gray, who served as Facilitator from 2021 to 2025.
