John Schwarting, owner of Brierton Engineering, took time from his day to tell us about the history of his company and the growth it's made in 30 plus years of business. Brierton Engineering specializes in manufacturing steerable axles and they serve customers all over the United States. We got a tour of all aspects of his company, ranging from supplies to welding to fabrication to completion and delivery. We had a good conversation about the role of tariffs and their impact on his purchasing and production strategies. John also stressed the importance of customer service and employee relations as key to his success.
