He stressed the importance of understanding finances: 'Money is important. If you ignore it, you won't have it.' By walking students through financial statements like the Balance Sheet and Income Statement, he showed how these tools can reveal a business's health. 'The more effort you put into the financial side, the more you are going to know about your business,' he explained.
