Dickinson County CEO students visited entrepreneurs Dr. Jarad Waite and Jennifer Waite at Family Eye Care in Abilene. The team shared their entrepreneurial journey from small-town beginnings to establishing a thriving optometry practice. Unlike other businesses that focus solely on products or services, Family Eye Care integrates multiple activities into their daily operations, including medical services, lens cutting, and retail eyewear sales.

During our visit, Dr. Waite provided a comprehensive tour of the Family Eye Care facility, demonstrating the seamless integration of medical and retail services they offer. Students experienced firsthand how a well-run healthcare business operates and the importance of patient-centered service.
