CEO Students to Showcase Businesses

As the school year draws to a close, students in Dickinson County’s Creating Entrepreneurial Opportunities (CEO) program are gearing up to unveil their businesses at the second annual Dickinson County CEO tradeshows.

"The tradeshows represent the culmination of their learning journey, incorporating insights from mentors, local business owners, and their coursework," said Kyle Becker, President of the Dickinson County CEO Board.

The class will host two tradeshows to cater to residents and businesses countywide. The first will take place on Wednesday, May 1, from 6:00 to 7:30 pm at the Herington Community Building, located at 810 S. Broadway St in Herington. The second will be held on Monday, May 6, from 6:00 to 7:30 pm at Sterl Hall, located at 619 N Rogers Street in Abilene. Attendees will have the opportunity to browse and shop the students' businesses as they present their products and services.

The student-run businesses featured in the tradeshow include:

• Josephine Banks (Chapman) - Burning Bright Candle Co

• Dakota Nisbeth (Chapman) - Precision Detailing
• Carter Rock (Chapman) - RockAir Drones
• Ashley Mascareno (Herington) - Homestead Hue Creations
• Aiden Souza (Herington) - NovaTech
• Riley Hunnicutt (Hope) - Cowgirl Creations
• Spencer Coup (Solomon) - Coup Cast
