About Me

My name is Kamryn Phillips, and I am a junior at Chapman High School. I participate in extracurricular activities such as CEO and NHS at school. Since transferring to Chapman and hearing about CEO, I knew I wanted to apply. I think it will help me in the future because I have wanted to own a business since I was 12. I plan to either start my own business, go into business management at my job now (I work with Love’s Truck Stop in Abilene), or become a marketing specialist. Through CEO, I hope to gain recognition in the community to help my business grow and be successful. In the future, I hope to gain helpful knowledge and information to help me get through the beginning steps of owning my own business.

About My Business

I have wanted to be a business owner since I was nine years old. Now, here I am! I own a vinyl working business doing t-shirts and hoodies for now, called Dink’s Doodles.I came up with this because “Dink” has been my nickname since I was born, and “Doodles” goes along with the vinyl working aspect of my business. I chose this industry because I have already had experience with it, and I find it very fun to work with vinyl and being able to make your own ideas and put it on a shirt. Being the person that I am, I have decided to express the things that I think, but never say, for people just like me. I am also available for special orders of any sort that someone might need, all they have to do is put their idea on paper, and I can put it on a shirt/hoodie with a little bit of creativity!
