Taylor Wells

About Me

Hi! My name is Taylor Wells. I am a junior at Chapman High School. Within my high school, I am active in FFA, FCCLA VP, Lady Emerald’s dance team captain, and softball. Outside of CHS, I do competition dance for Poetry in Movement and work at The Hitching Post. Off the bat, I was very interested in joining the Dickinson County CEO class. In the future, I aspire to become a business owner of a dance studio and boutique. This program brings endless resources/opportunities to help me achieve that goal. Community connections and involvement is a major part of being CEO, which I will be able to use to my advantage. I truly cannot wait for all the lessons I will learn this year; I am more than ready to take on the challenge!

About My Business

By now we are all tired of fast fashion and mass produced jelwery. That’s why I created, Natureware. I love expressing myself daily with things like fashion and jewelry. My passion for this industry is what drove this adventure. I wanted a versatile name that allows for growth. I will be making handcrafted unique jewelry pieces, sets, and accessories. My shop will be online and in local storefronts. Partnering with local floral shops has allowed me to use native Kansas flowers to implement into my creations. The local flowers will intrigue locals and visitors to Abilene. I have a niche for the natural world, and being able to craft uncommon pieces that will make my brand stick out. Unlike average jewelry, mine will represent more botanical aesthetics. Wearing my jewelry will support a small local business and make you feel more comfortable with yourself and your creativity. I appreciate your time to whoever finds this biography. Start your own journey, and shop with Natureware :)
